NUBIANQ URBAN PATCH
In December 2015 i started planning for my sustainable garden, this was brought on by the fact that i wanted to change the way me and my family live and look at food. This was also for me to curb all the expenses that you carry when you love fresh vegetables and herbs like i do, also the amazing thing is i love veggies that are a bit expensive to buy and planting them is an amazing learning experience. Imagine Artichokes, orange sweetpotates, asparagus and Rhubarb.
In January 2016 i started my prep for my soil and where that garden will be situated. I also wanted my garden to be pretty looking but believe me if you are a virgin gardener its soooooooo hard. There was a lot of trial and error also i wanted to learn about companion planting i never knew that there are plants that help each other to give a great yield like tomatoes and Basil like dhaaar, I’m supposed to know that right. I have so much instore especially for my South African, Jorburgers that are not planting stuff because they think you have to have a plot for you to plant.
I hope you will enjoy this journey with me , PLEASE COME WALK IT WITH ME.
